Creating upcycled, vintage sea-glass jewelry is a time consuming labor of love. Although some of Meg's processes are proprietary, below is a quick summary of the steps needed to create these stunning, one of a kind pieces of jewelry.
The Hunt
Every piece of Predestined Collection jewelry starts with finding sea-glass.
Inspection
Sea-glass is then brought back to the workshop for further inspection and selection.
Research
Sea-glass is then sourced for its overall composition, origin, grade, color, quality and rarity.
Cataloged
Pieces are then documented and cataloged. This will later be used for the purchase authentication cards.
Preparation
Sea-glass is then drilled or wrapped to perfection by hand with rotary and other specialized tools.
Refinement
Pieces are further refined to bring out the life and brilliance of the glass.
Adornments
Adornments are intuitively selected to complement each piece of glass used in the jewelry.
Crafting
Separate jewelry components are matched and selected for final use.
Assembly
All the individual pieces are assembled together to create one stunning and incredibly unique piece of predestined jewelry.
Packaging & Delievery
The jewelry is then boxed along with a signed authentication card from the artist - ready to be received and cheerished by the purchaser.
